The genesis of traceability is to be able to differentiate each bottle. To do this, producers must be equipped with a market security solution, which makes it possible to have a unique identifier on each bottle that can be read in two ways:
Yes, if there are no other warehouse management systems, then there is a need to have the FIDEWine application in the warehouse.
The application is available first on the Apple AppStore and Android PlayStore.
It's the same principle. Most warehouses already have logistics tools on Android and can therefore easily install the FIDEwine application. We are talking to some big logistics players to interface with their systems.
The scan today is only done at the exit, at the processing of the outgoing order to assign the bottles sent to the buyer. We are already in discussions with logistics operators to interface with their systems.
Precision: when crafting at the property, a case label will have been applied that individually identifies the bottles present in this case. There is therefore no need to scan bottles one by one as long as the cases are not “exploded”.
It's not you who's charging, it's the FIDEwine platform.
As a “seller”, you go to your FIDEwine account, and you “transfer” the passports to your buyer. This is done prior to shipping.
The buyer receives a notification by email and after creating his account (1st time) buys them on the FideWine platform.
Yes. This is essential to have a “secure wallet” that will store your passports.
For you, and for all FIDEwine users (except producers), access to FideWine is free. On the other hand, the passport transfer is chargeable, at the expense of the buyer, with a transfer of 50% of this transaction to the seller.
- No obligation
However, it is difficult to fight against the sense of history and the strong demand from consumers to be reassured about the authenticity and traceability of these Great Wines. This gives additional value to these crates/bottles, which is beneficial for the entire sector.
For you salespeople, this is an additional argument.
One point to add: the seller of the bottle can take care of the cost of the transfer (gift, tasting for example)
- What is going on?
The passport goes into a “transitory” wallet.
Traceability stops.
You transfer passports from your FIDEwine passport account.
Practically, on the FIDEwine site, you select the product you sold (and which is in your wallet), you indicate the quantity, the buyer's email (or find it in your customer base if it is not the first shipment) and you have it “sent”.
The buyer then receives an email allowing him to obtain the passports on his account (creation of an account is mandatory if he does not already have one) after payment.
We can distinguish two scenarios: early or deliverable.
If it's a “Deliverable” sale, you choose exactly what you sold and send the passports.
If it is a “Primeur” sale, it is a shipment of passports “equivalent bottles”. There is then a process of instructions to fill in for the proper management of logistics. You can then automatically compile these putting instructions requested from your buyers on FIDEwine and have them sent to the property. This provides a simple and unified tool for managing betting instructions.
In logistics, the only operation required is the output scan to process the order to be shipped. For this, the FideWine application is available on the AppStore and PlayStore.
During picking, the operator selects the order he has to process on the FIDEwine app and scans the boxes without worrying about an order. This scan also makes it possible to ensure compliance with the order. It is this scan that assigns the “out” cash registers to the new passport holder. The order picker does not look for a case with a specific number in the warehouse, which would be much too complicated. The order picker scans a case at random and FIDEwine associates the bottles in that case with passports held by the buyer.
Some logistics providers will soon be interfaced to further simplify this operation.
Receiving an email notifying the arrival of the passport on the FIDEwine account. Acceptance of this transfer by payment on the platform. Invoice issuance by FIDEwine
