The fine wine market, now a global market, is entering a new phase: certified provenance

For merchants, importers and collectors, the value of a fine wine now depends as much on its condition as on trust in its origin and its journey over time.
Today, the market is taking a further step: provenance must be easy to document and share.
That is precisely the goal of FIDEwine, which gives bottles a digital passport, a true certificate of ownership.
Recent changes to the platform have made access and sharing much simpler, so merchants can now document the origin of the wines they sell and share that information with their customers, particularly in export markets.
Several merchants are already adopting this approach to increase transparency around certain wines and add value to their offers, giving their customers a point of differentiation.
At the same time, some estates are starting the process for older vintages, allowing everyone in the chain to get more value from their stock.
Documented provenance is naturally becoming an essential part of the market, a true “must-have”.
