This site's content is served statically by Netlify. The demo request form is also processed by Netlify (Netlify Forms service), which records submitted requests and forwards them to us.
This site does not set any cookies, whether for audience measurement, advertising or preferences.
To understand how the site is used and improve its content, we use Plausible Analytics, a cookie-free audience measurement tool published by Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia) and hosted in the European Union. Plausible sets no cookies, does not store your IP address and cannot identify you or track you from one site to another: it only produces aggregated statistics (page views, referring sites, device type, clicks on the main buttons).
Plausible neither reads nor writes any information on your device. It therefore falls outside the scope of consent under Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés), and this site does not display a consent banner.
If a tracker requiring consent (such as cookies) were ever added, this page would be updated and a compliant consent banner (refusing as easy as accepting, no pre-ticked boxes) would be put in place before that tracker is set.
This site has no user accounts. Personal data is processed in two cases: when you fill in the demo request form, and when you email us directly.
FIDEWINE, SAS, whose details appear in section 1 of this page.
Demo request form: name, business email, estate or company, profile, number of bottles sold per year and optional message. Email: your email address, the content of your message and your name if you mention it. This data is used solely to process and reply to your request and, where applicable, to arrange the demo.
This processing is based on our legitimate interest in replying to the requests sent to us (Article 6.1.f GDPR), or on taking steps prior to entering into a contract if your message concerns a demo or quote request (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
Requests sent through the form and email exchanges are kept for as long as needed to process your request, then for no more than 3 years after the last contact if no business relationship follows.
Your data is intended solely for the FIDEwine team. It is never sold or transferred. It passes through our technical processors: Netlify, Inc. (site hosting and form reception) and Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft 365, email for the contact@fidewine.com address).
Netlify, Inc. is based in the United States, so requests sent through the form may be processed outside the European Union. This transfer is governed by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Netlify adheres. The same applies to email, hosted by Microsoft Corporation (United States), which also adheres to this framework.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. You can exercise these rights by writing to contact@fidewine.com.
No data protection officer (DPO) has been appointed to date; your GDPR requests can be sent directly to the address above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 Place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, or via cnil.fr.
