A tamper-proof digital identity
Every bottle has its digital passport, recorded on the blockchain. Every change of hands is recorded: the passport serves both as a certificate of ownership and as the bottle's logbook.
For the estates and bottles counterfeiters target: a unique identity for each bottle, a physically secured label and a history no one can rewrite.

For the producer, it's know-how being hijacked. For the distributor, a network's trust shaken. For the wine lover, a betrayed experience.
Every bottle has its digital passport, recorded on the blockchain. Every change of hands is recorded: the passport serves both as a certificate of ownership and as the bottle's logbook.
With our security technology partners (Prooftag, ATT, WID, Scribos...) and Philaposte (intaglio-engraved labels), the link between the bottle and its passport is protected against copying.
The CNRS, with Tianjin University and UT2A, is conducting research to certify the provenance of wines by isotope dilution. The result of this analysis is stored in the FIDEwine passport: the bottle travels with the fingerprint of its origin, written into the wine itself. This research is presented by a Tianjin University academic at the 47th OIV World Congress of Vine and Wine (12 to 16 October 2026).
Every bottle has an identified holder: if it is stolen, it becomes traceable and its illegitimate resale almost impossible.

The 1855 Premier Grand Cru Classé secures its bottles with the FIDEwine passport, together with Prooftag and Philaposte Taille-douce, as far back as its 1976 vintage.
